Full Description

Initiated in 1990, the Tills Project places HASL collection tills in high-traffic locations including supermarkets, banks, restaurants, and pharmacies. During the period under review, the project raised Rs. 6,354,167, reflecting an 8% growth in income compared to the previous year (2022/2023).
A total of 2,033 tills were active across the Central, Southern, Uwa, and Western provinces. notably, 1,342 of these were placed in the Western Province, with 180 key units located at Cargills Food Cities and Keells Super Centres in Colombo. The report specifically highlights an increase in contributions from southern coastal areas such as Galle, Hikkaduwa, and Mirissa, attributed to the resurgence of tourist arrivals.
