The 2023/2024 fiscal year marked a historic milestone for the Greeting Cards Division. Despite digital trends reducing demand for traditional cards, the division pivoted to a 'Corporate Compassion' model via the 'Give the Gift of Sight' campaign. This initiative, where purchasing 200 cards equated to sponsoring one cataract surgery, resonated deeply with donors.
Performance: Revenue surged from Rs. 6.05M (22/23) to Rs. 18.27M (23/24). A total of 108,400 seasonal cards were printed, with 91,083 total cards sold (including 79,717 seasonal and 6,000 corporate birthday cards).
Major Sponsorship: Hayleys Group PLC led with a monumental Rs. 5.2 million contribution, sponsoring 260 surgeries.
