HASL operates two Mobile Medical Unit buses that travel across Sri Lanka to provide free medical and eye care to elders lacking access to healthcare. In FY 2025/26, the programme conducted 145 camps, achieving massive reach: 11,449 medical screenings, 15,820 eye screenings, 12,178 spectacles distributed, and 3,604 cataracts identified for referral.
Key Initiatives:
Supreme Care Jana Suwa Yathra: Launched in May 2023, this partnership has conducted 95 weekly camps, benefiting over 300 people weekly with the ambitious goal of reaching all 14,022 GN divisions.
Darley Butler Camps: A generous contribution of Rs. 2.2 million enabled 20 specific camps. This initiative notably included the distribution of adult diapers, bringing essential comfort and dignity to many elders.

A monthly initiative funded by the Jaco Foundation (Canada) enabling 500 free cataract surgeries to restore sight, dignity, and independence.
