The SHAPE Project, funded by HelpAge International (USD 7,949), is designed to strengthen local organizations to prepare for and respond to humanitarian emergencies effectively. The project facilitates an internal transformation to ensure better preparedness and improved services for older people during crises.
Three HASL staff members attended an initial 5-day training in Kathmandu (23–27 Sep 2024). Upon their return, they conducted a cascade training session at the HASL Head Office (11–12 Nov 2024) to transfer knowledge on critical areas such as Safeguarding, Humanitarian Inclusion Standards (HIS), and Resource Mobilization.

Emergency response providing life-saving food packs, essential non-food items, and disability equipment to 1,967 flood-affected elders to ensure safety and dignity.
